Have more than one instant messaging account? Logging into Facebook, Twitter, Skype, and Google Chat? How about Yahoo!IM, AOL Instant Messenger, and Windows Live Messenger? Any others? Probably. So, what are some of the best tools for managing all of these services?

Like most of the answers in my posts… it depends.  🙂 Here are my top choices (in reverse order – so, wait for it):

  • eBuddy – web based.
  • Meebo Messenger – web based.  not customizable. a friendly review. (now shut down and integrated into google +)
  • Digsby – liked it but had to go to Pidgin due to tech set-ups at work.
  • Pidgin – left it to go to Trillian about 6 months ago.
  • Trillian – my goto app. it’s on my android phone, my work and home computers, and my tablet. it works great with my email, skype, and IM accounts.
